I do have a lot of characters who I admire. I'll mention one from a movie and other from a book. Each character I'm going to talk about has completely different personalities and stories. But they both have a meaning to me
Loki from the movie Thor. He even appears in some comic books. The reason why I chose this character to be my favorite is because he has a strong personality, wise words, and good sense of humor. On the other hand he is evil and extremely dangerous. In the story he is known as Thor's step brother and he wanted to take over Asgard. Asgard is a land in another universe. I really like this character cause of his appearance as well. You can see the power and strength just by looking at him. Since Thor was going to be the prince or king of Asgard. Jealousy took over Loki. That's when he said
"I never wanted the throne, I only ever wanted to be your equal". At this point is where the unforgivable acts began.
Hazel grace is my favorite character from the book 'The fault in our stars'. She is seventeen and she suffers from thyroid cancer and a disease which spread all over her lungs. Therefore, she carries an oxygen tank with her everywhere she goes. One day Hazel and her friend Agustus planned to visit their favorite author and ask him about the ending of his book. The great thing about Hazel Grace is that she never give up. When they went to see her favorite author and had troubles with that, she didn't get too upset. And when they went to a house tour. There weren't any elevators and she had to carry the huge oxygen tank just to get to the top. I really admire her personality and way of thinking. She accepts the pain she's going through. Instead of complaining about it she use it as a potion that would make her stronger.
These two characters are goals. They have way too many amazing features. And both have a unique way of showing it.
Finally I want to talk about my favorite fictional character from an animated show called Jojo's bizarre adventure. He has become one of my favorite characters. He's rude but wise at the same time. So what makes him special is that he has a stand. A stand is an evil spirit that will protect its owner, also when the stand gets hurt the owner gets hurt as well. In the series Jostar (jojo) and his Grandpa experience a great adventure which also lays behind a purpose, which is saving his mother from a serious disease. He might not be that kind to his mom, but he truly care about her lot. He thinks that nothing is impossible cause they made it too far. He's very loyal to his friends. He'd actually sacrifice his life to save his friends and family life. I like his appearance and the way he dress. He just doesn't care about what people think. And I can't wait for the new season to watch more of Jojo.
Height is something most people are concerned about these days. To be honest I want to get taller, 8 feet or over. Some people prefer being short, while others prefer being tall. For some people it depends on the gender. They think guys should always be taller than girls. Although some men stop growing at the age of 21, but others stop growing at the age 25. Usually men are taller than woman.
I am almost 165 inches tall. I used to be one of the tall girls in class back when I was in middle school, however I kind of stopped getting taller by the beginning of high school. I heard that playing sports like basketball and stretching daily can help you get taller! Sleeping for at least 9 hours and exercising is required, as well. Even though height is an important feature in our society, we shouldn't try so hard to change our heights, instead try to accept it.
All heights are beautiful and different. I mean imagine if we were all tall and we were sitting in class, it would be hard for others to look at the board. Same thing with being short. But height can be a problem for those who like games such as roller coasters. They usually have a certain limit of height for the riders. In addition, I like my height. Yes I want to be taller, but I'm still thankful and grateful for what I have. You should try to see the good things and benefits from your height too.
My birthday is on February 16th. Almost all of my siblings were born on the same date which is 16th. I enjoy having my birthday celebrated with family and friends. Although not all of my friends can make it to my birthday, but having few who are close to you is more than enough. I always like waiting for my birthday and I know every year that a special surprise is waiting for me on that day. Sometimes they act like they forgot about it and act all normal but then I find out they have been preparing a surprise party! To be honest they can't always hide it from me, I always figure it out.
The best thing in my birthday isn't the gifts. The best gift is just a simple "Happy birthday" from someone would mean a lot to me. It's a great feeling knowing that someone remembers the day you were born, it means that they care about you. One of my best birthdays would be the one on 2010. That's because I spent it with a lot of people including my relatives, neighbors, class mates, and close friends. My cake was really expensive, because we had to get a large size for a lot of people. My second best birthday would probably be the one on 2007, It's special cause we got to travel to celebrate! we traveled to LA and we spent a lot of time together and made great memories. We couldn't stay for long, because my dad had work. Although we had to go back home early, but we did have great time there.
Birthdays are great events that make someone feel special and worthy. I think everyone should get the chance to celebrate their birthdays. I understand some people are really busy and might not have enough time to celebrate, still celebrating with your family and friends is important as well. You don't always have to prepare a party or pay a lot for this occasion. You can just gather and meet up with friends and make memories. It's that simple.
